James was born when his mother was 28 years old. He is the second child and only son. Since James looks to be about six months old or so, his mother would have been close to 29 in the Then picture. His older sister Pam was born in June of 1957, just nine months after his parent's wedding in September 1956. His younger sister Angie was born in August of 1963.
Angie took this picture of their mom this November. In the Now picture, she is almost 85. Her and Angie were making Thanksgiving decorations. James is 56 in this Now picture.
Although she has some minor health problems, overall she is in good health. She told us we would need to cook when we stayed with her at Christmas but she ended up doing all the cooking for us. She can not participate in as many things as much as she used to participate, but still enjoys visiting with her sisters and other family.
