as usual Farrah helps us and teaches us how to get the most amazing photos!I have been bed bound these past few weeks, , so I took photos of stuff around the house and tried to give a nice light by pointing a re`ding lamp we have to reflect on the wall. The camera is a Nikon D40 DSLR but I never learned to properly use it, it has programs, but I kinda founds my way to get good changes in the background after my daughter taught me how to,another thing I learned a while after we had it, bought a zoom lens, &, especially outside, using the zoom lens will give me great shallow depth of field...(assuming this is what I think it is, old age and lack of sleep confuses me! hope is ok, not sure if I achieved the complete look, also the small photo is better but the focus on the flower wasn't very good. I ended up making two versions of the challenge here too... (do NOT laugh at my lack of decision making!
It is a fabric rose, with a story dear to us, will write the journaling later, my friend Geordie gave it to us when we first moved in this place, and now that we can't keep live plants because of my health conditions, is great having, the one behind is also fake, we have another two fakes in the kitchen, plus cacti and succulent
