what a clever (& minimalist!) tree that ticks all the boxes - i did have a bit of a chuckle thinking this must be an Ikea xmas tree or something with the pinecone being wider than the trunk and branch combined! i think the trees in your photos are seriously amazing though, what a great place to explore and i love the photo of your DD inside the hollowed trunk & the photo you took looking up to the canopy really sums up how these sorts of forests feel, they make me & my problems feel so small & silly in comparison and getting those sorts of feelings from just a picture is really the beauty of photography!
