I don't "do selfies." I find them the height of self-absorption. BUT, I DID take a picture of myself for this challenge. I then cut out the face and pasted it on this element from Rebecca McMeen's kit "Lola Rose Too." (Sorry Lola). OK. Now for the journaling part.
Let's talk about the "elephant in the room." In 2016, I voted for a Republican running for President! Sure, it was just the primary, and I usually don't vote in primaries. But, I was so taken by this individual, I wanted to cast my vote for him. I was SURE he wouldn't end up being the nominee, but I wanted to vote for the man I felt was the MOST QUALIFIED of all those running.
Oh, NO, NO, NO!!! I'm not talking about the person who eventually DID become President! [shudder] I'm not even talking about the person who got the most votes back then.
Come to think about it, I'm NOT embarrassed by my vote! Why should I be?
Who was it? I already told you who it was - the man MOST QUALIFIED for the position! GEEZ. Do I have to spell it out for you?!?

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE what you did with this page. First, the photo is great - I like your new hairdo <VBG>. Clever story about 2016 voting and I can see that "elephant in the room" right behind you!
I love how you included your selfie in your style of scrapping. I love the imagery that moves along with your story. And it's definitely a story that would be interesting for your loved ones to remember about you. Your personality really comes through in your writing. "Do I have to spell it out for you?" LOL
