Thank you for hosting! Love your page, a mix of sketchy stuff, book quotes, personal fears. Putting on my thinking cap. I have kept a digital journal since 2013 and physical travel journals, so I just need to narrow it down...
Thank you so much for hosting this challenge. I was hoping there would be an art journal challenge included in MOC. And I really had a lot of fun.
What an awesome layout. I love how you decorated your notebook. I love all the fun little details underneath it (like the ruler and the key) as well. Such a fun art journal layout.
Love your page Barbara and I loved the challenge. Soooooo I have a question.. what did you think or are thinking about Midnight Sun? I see your exerpt from it in your diary. I have waited for her to finish it for so long.. the exerpt she had out on the web for years had me so excited waiting for it, and I found when I read it when it came out, it was meh... anyway I love your journal diary and love the days you journaled. Wonderful page and great bg paper and elements to accent your journal
@umyesh@Cinzia@Saar thank you so much I agree with doing a Art Journaling... I too knew we needed to incorporate Art Journaling as we have many here that enjoy it. I went back and forth with different ideas and finalized on this.
@cfile It was a interesting read seeing it through his eyes.... but agree it was just Meh if there is a next book I will not buy it. Library yes. But Covid has prevented me from using the library as much. They have been open on and off during this whole Covid.... not sure why they cannot be open the whole time and just doing curbside pickups!?
@Sokee I agree re not buying any more of her books.. I bought the Bree Tanner or whatever the girl vampire book that she wrote too.. that was good, but I was really thinking based on the original 200 pages of MS that were out for over 10 years that she never completed re Edward was much better than the rest she wrote to finish the book. I was really dissappointed. I did buy the book where it was the flip.. half was the Twilight normal book and then you turned it around and upside down and it was that Bella was the vampire and Edward was the non vampire.. now that was interesting too.. she fell flat on this one (MS) after page 201! Re the library, I am in agreement. I used to borrow or even bought some books that people would drop in the friends of the library to buy. I have even donated books to them in the past. I try to buy as few books now as I can.. I like physical books so it is hard. I just got the Fanny Flagg Boy of Whistle Stop which was the sequel to Fried Green Tomatoes.. it was ok... Virgin River books by Robyn Carr are excellent.. the series on Netflix is really close to the books Hugs my friend!
