March Inspiration Challenge

this is so SO very beautiful Cher!!!!!! love not just how the circle path "hugzz" the photo but the way you did the borders words also makes it even more about the text!!!! and oh my, I want that sofa/swing!!!!!! I want that porch, actually LOL gorgeous photo, love the colors you used that makes it in sync with photo and text...beautiful choie3 of elements, delicate and gorgeous as always!!!!!!!!!!

@MrsPeel I'm SO happy that you like my page, My Sister! I couldn't have emulated yours if I had even tried, but I was happy with these results after many trials and errors. I really enjoyed your challenge and I actually love playing with fonts. I don't do it often enough so thanks for the great challenge!

Can you do this? Is your porch big enough? Or maybe a deck? It looks awesome! I'd love something like this, aside from our mosquitoes which would put a damper on things very quickly. Now if I only had a screened in room...

@mcurtt Marilyn, we do have mosquito nets in our porchs in Brazil, and the last house we had in the north east, we had a big, HUGE porch.... oh how I would love to win the lottery and go back there, then this is also my dream porch!!!!!! if you ever get it done (either of you!) let me know because I SHOULD< NEED to go visit you LOL

@mcurtt Oh, how I wish, Marilyn. We have never had a front porch like that in Florida. We've had some nice lanais, but they're in the back. This is absolutely my dream porch. Yes, the bugs are horrible here, too! That's why lanais are normally screened in. There are these super pesky bugs called "no see-ums" that can even get through the screening. "Beware the flying teeth".

@MrsPeel That's a great idea - mosquito netting is the thing to have! I don't even think the no-see-ums can get through that. I'm sure you left part of your heart on that front porch. When I was growing up, my aunt and uncle lived in an old house near downtown and they had a beautiful porch like this. You normally have to live in an older home or have a porch specifically built to get one like this. When I get mine "in my next life" I'll be sure to let you know. Cause I'm going to be mega rich and I can fly my friends to visit.
