Yours is a legacy of kindness. Not the trite kind. Not the superficial kind. Not the sometimes kind. But the genuine, core of your being, faith inspired kind. I carry it in me like a spark...it burns warm reminding me and guiding me and inspiring me.
And the memory of you, separately, and together fills me with such a rush of gratitude for being blessed by you. For having known you. For having loved you. For having time with you. For seeing your example. I miss you so much. So much. There are so few people in this world like you.
I pray that I can honor your legacy of kind hearts and warm love. Of easy smiles and firm and steadying handshakes. Of a deep and honest laugh. Of thoughtfulness and caring interest. Of encouraging others and letting your light shine bright.
