- JOURNALING: This statue was donated to the University of Florida by graduates Bruce and Laura Gross inspired by UF’s advertising campaign: “The Gator Nation is Everywhere.” They wanted a work of art to convey that Business alumni were doing great things all over the world. The sculpture by Chris Williams, titled “Gator Ubiquity”, is 8 feet tall, 6 feet wide, weighs about 1500 pounds and is entirely of bronze.
On label: ubiquity: “presence everywhere or in many places especially simultaneously.”
