Dining Out In 2020

Dining out is something we love to do on occasion. Visiting new places, trying out new food and drinking a delicious glass of wine while enjoying delightful conversations; what’s not to love about that?
Unfortunately this was only the first time that we were able to enjoy a romantic dinner at a restaurant together since the Corona pandemic hit our country in March 2020. From March 15th until June 1st all restaurants were closed because of the first lockdown in the Netherlands. On this late summer day it was a spontaneous suggestion of Tim to eat out of the door now that we were able to and I’m so thankful that we did, because we didn’t know it would be one of the last opportunities we would have for a very long time. On October 14th we went into a strong lockdown once more, which again meant the closure of all restaurants. This lockdown would continue through the rest of 2020 and well into 2021. The food we ate that day was delicious, although little, but most importantly; it was an evening we would cherish and remember for many more evenings to come...
