Description
This is Miranda, who I inherited when my paternal grandmother passed away. She promised me I could have her when I was a little girl. She's one of my most prized (inanimate) possessions. My journaling wordcount is 250.

What a heart-rendering story! I am so glad that Miranda ended up with you. Does it have any markings on the underside? Just curious. I love that you picked up on the blues in the teapot. She is indeed a sweetie.

@mcurtt USA is engraved on the bottom. I can't see any other markings, Marilyn. Granny had her for as long as I cold ever remember, so she's very old. Thanks for your sweet comments.

@flowersgal Thanks so much, Patsy! I knew right away that I wanted to use her for this challenge. Granny lived well into her 90's and she passed away in the 80's. Miranda is pretty old.
