This is Miranda, who I inherited when my paternal grandmother passed away. She promised me I could have her when I was a little girl. She's one of my most prized (inanimate) possessions. My journaling wordcount is 250.
I love your story and the happy memories you shared with us! I smiled reading it thinking of my own memories from my grandma! What a treasure you have!
I love this story Cheryl! How awesome that she let you guys sleep in the tub! Its just so wonderful to have these stories to pass on to the next generations. Thank you so much for joining the storyteller challenge!
@jesskab It's very special, Jess. I use that bathtub story whenever my grandkids complain because they don't each one have their own bed when they're all over here. (There are a lot of them, too.) I say "We used to sleep in Granny's bathtub" or "Granny used to put two chairs together and make us beds". They're getting old enough now that they're not amused. Thanks for coming by and leaving such sweet comments.
