Wow, that is the coolest place! Love all the history and that skate rink must be brilliant! Love how the title and journaling run down the sides, kind of reflects the whole canal theme. Brilliant & thank you so much for taking part in the challenge :)

Thanks, @KarenB! here is a shot of a tiny portion of the canal during winter. There are little huts to put your skates on, but that also sell hot chocolate and "beaver tails" - sort of a flat, fried dough thing with cinnamon sugar on top.
