Synesthesia

My Monthly Muse May 2022 week 4 layout. It has been a month of exploring and learning. The topic of synesthesia had me learning about the sense of taste (only 5 or 6 of them, limited to tongue) versus flavor (which is nearly infinite being a combination of taste, odor and chemical feeling); and I spent way too much time learning about light and sound waves . But I what I realize is something I've always known about myself....I LOVE art and science. My bookshelves are filled with science and art books. My mind often ponders the mysteries of Earth and the universe and I love to translate that into art (which for me results in a lot of nature layouts). So my layout is not about synesthesia per se, but is a reflection of this months exploration and an acknowledgment of something that is fundamentally me - art and science.
