Here's my childhood quilt. These were my favorite things. I had to include the gun. My grandfather got me a leather holster with two pearl handle toy guns. It was my pride and joy.

Love the element choice, including the cowboy boots & horse. I also remember that my transistor radio was my best friend. To get better reception, I would sit on the floor in my room & would clip the antenna to the metal bed springs. LOL!
@mcurtt That's funny about getting better reception. I never did that, but I used to put little bits of aluminum foil on the ends. Haha The things we used to do. Did you notice the fan? We had NO AC! For years! How did we ever stand that?
@Cherylndesigns I did notice the fan. We lived upstairs in a 2 flat (heat rises). So yes, I remember the heat. When I was about 10 or so, we bought a window air conditioner, but it was in the living room. There was a door to close it off from the rest of the house. I remember sneaking out there with my pillow & blanket to sleep on the sofa.
