Exactly! But, speaking for self, I sometimes get stuck in a destructive pattern at the cost of my own peace...thus my OLW for the year "no." To help get out of my own way.
Such a strong message in this page! It's true that saying no can be very difficult for a people-pleaser. As I age my people-pleasing genes seem to be wearing off and I've gained some much-needed ability to care less!
