journaling: This was such a weird feeling. Six months ago I never would have thought a vaccine would be available so quickly and 2 months ago even if it was available, I would have been leery about taking it. Now that we already have the first dose (of the Moderna vaccine) done, this is just one step closer to freedom and not having to constantly worry about catching Covid while out and about. Both James and I had pretty bad reactions to the 2nd shot. He had a fever and I had a really bad headache, but I’m hoping that just means it’s doing it job to keep us safe! April 19, 2021
