Journaling reads:
It was 1972. We were young, we had just started dating, we were at the University of Illinois, neither one of us having a care in the world. I think I was to blame, it was my suggestion, although I have no idea why I would have thought to voluntarily see this. I dragged John to the midnight movies, to see the Night of the Living Dead. You learn a lot about a person in movie theaters. I found out that John was not a horror fan, and frankly, neither was I. But we sat through the film, scared to death, covered our eyes, on the edge of our seats, almost from the opening credits. It was a memory that we talked about throughout the years. It left a lasting impression on us, the Night of the Living Dead.
Great page Marilyn!! Can you imagine!!! .. I saw this in 1972 as well .. i was 11 staying at my grandparents house and went to the movies of a double feature with friends i had at grandmas house.. it was Willard and Night of the Living Dead… what a combo!! Love how you scrapped this!! Well done!
I love the way you used the template on half the page with that wonderful lady peeking out from under the template and the tag too... the other thing I love is the man at the bottom, coming out of the reel and the title work is absolutely fantastic!!!
Awesome page, really caught my eye in the gallery ! Well, I wasn't even born in 1972 but when I saw that particular movie many years after you did, well... let's say I'm not a horro movie fan ! I love the scared lady peeking out from under the blue paper and how you split the page in two.
