This was the week when the Advent calendar was empty; when Dick took Lotus to the Smithsonian again; when we got a chocolate tree from the NC family; when my car looked so spiffy with its Christmas wreath; when Tracey, Lotus & I went to Baltimore for dinner at CafeHon & then walked over to the lights on 34th Street; when we went to the Mall so Lotus could spend her money; when she found just the right black pants; when Alice gave Lotus a big bag of outgrown clothes; when the week was different but oh with so much Christmas joy
