December Sketch Challenge

Hey all Polly Jewelle here with some good news!  The sketch challenge for iDSD was such a huge success that we are going to be keeping it around for awhile.  Because many of us are documenting our December this month I thought the sketch challenge would be perfect to help out with that!  I don’t know about you, but after doing a huge project like that my brain starts to get mushy, lazy and a bit overwhelmed.  This is where our sketch challenge enters into play.  A sketch can easily boost your creativity when it may be waning to help finish your project.  Now I know some of you are probably thinking, “But I’m not doing a December project!” That is perfectly fine!  Go ahead and still use the sketch for a scrapbook layout, or other project.  All entries are welcome!  For a bit more information on rules and where to post your entries please check out THIS THREAD in the forum.

Its about time I introduce the sketch.  Here we go…

Now before I go I wanted to share some products with you that I think would work smashingly with this sketch.

Lots of pretty cursive words by Liz

December Faves No. 2 Wordart

This isn’t exactly cursive handwriting, but the way it flows reminds me of cursive.  Heather’s fonts are always perfect to use on a layout!

Allison has a ton of goodies in this element pack that you could use on the sketch!

Get Happy: Elements

These clips by Kim could easily hold down your photo for the sketch.

Maybe the stars inspired you from my sketch and you wanted to use Amy’s templates to show off the stars.

Or what if you don’t have a picture? You could easily use one of Amy W’s elements in place of a photo.

Merry Messy Marvin

And lastly maybe you could build a layout around one of these journaling cards by Peppermint.

Evergreen Journaling Cards

I hope the sketch and these products have got your mind stirring.  I can’t wait to see all the ways you use this sketch!
