December Challenges
Hello and happy December! It’s Polly Karen here bringing you a look at the new challenges just posted yesterday to the forum. There are once again 7 challenges for this month and if you play along you can earn yourself a discount coupon for the Lilypad Store. (2 Challenges = 10%, 4 Challenges = 20% and 6 Challenges = 30%) In addition to a coupon, if you complete all 7 challenges, you will be entered in a drawing to win one of two guest spots on the Creative Team (to be a Polly) for one month. Now let’s take a look at the new challenges.
1. Template Challenge – This month’s Template Challenge is to use the free template (below) supplied by Amy Martin. Amanda (MandaKay) is hosting this month’s template challenge and has created this fabulous sample page to get you started:

2. Scraplift Challenge – Julie (mrs2a50) is hosting December’s Scraplift Challenge. She is challenging you to pick a page from any of the Polly’s galleries. Julie has created a list of all the Pollys in the Scraplift Challenge thread.
3. Random Challenge – Angie (Angie4b1g) is hosting the Random Challenge for December. Her challenge to you is to create a layout using only 2-3 colors. Here is a sample page created by Angie to get you started:
4. Journaling Challenge – For December’s Journaling Challenge, your host Renee (renee82) is challenging you to create a layout with someone’s Christmas Wishlist or even do a page with your own wishlist. Here is a sample layout with Renee’s boy’s wishlists:
5. One Word Challenge – Amanda (gracielou) is hosting this month’s One Word Challenge. She has selected the word “Celebrate” for the One Word this month.
6. Product Challenge – Heather (talktoheather) is the host for December’s Product Challenge. Heather has chosen buttons as the product to play with this month. She wants you to create a page with at least 3 different buttons on it. Here is a sample page Heather created:
7. BYOC Challenge – The BYOC Collection for December will be released on Friday, December 6th. Once those products are released, the BYOC Challenge for December will be posted as well. The challenge is to use 90% of the products on your page from this month’s BYOC collection AND use products from at least 3 designers. This should be an easy one since the BYOC collections are designed with a common color palette they are perfect for mix and matching!
