Popping a few words on a page and a date, are usually the last thing most scrappers put on a page. Anne of Alamo here and I would like to challenge you to work around your title first!  Pull out the photos you want to use, and look at them, and the first thing that comes to your mind is your title! Your title can say it all! No more struggling for journaling, because the title says it all!  Here is my photo.  This is my 14 year old son asleep on the big chair. His legs are like so long.  My very first thought was, The Boy Has Very Long Legs! Very Long!  That was gonna be my title. I planned that in my head the whole time I was making this page.  Looking more at the photo, and I knew it was gonna go across the middle of the page, in a rectangular shape. The title was gonna be the biggest part of the page!  I had just bought Allison Pennington’s Hark Another Very Small Alpha, and figured I could use that for the little words, and pull in some brightness with some brush alphas too! Brushes give me freedom to place and color options too! I am a big lover of alpha brushes for my titles.  Seriously, some alphas, like Pink Reptile Designs, Wicked can be used again and again! These alphas goes like peanut butter and jelly together with her i believe in miracles alpha  (from kit of same name)  Painted alphas to me are the cat’s meow of butt kicking awesomeness, and an alpha I go back to again…

When I scrapbook, I like to listen to music. I can’t really watch TV or movies, because usually I’m visually engrossed in creating my page. I find music to be the perfect compliment to scrapbooking because I can concentrate on…
