April Challenges
Hello everyone! It’s another new month and another month closer to summer! Yay! 🙂 It’s Karen here to give you a look at the new challenges for the month of April. Once again there are 7 inspiring challenges and as always there are fabulous rewards for participating in our challenges. You can earn up to a 30% off coupon just for doing what you love anyway… scrapping! Here are the details: 2 challenges = 10% off, 4 challenges = 20% off and 6 challenges = 30% off! On top of those fabulous rewards, if you finish all 7 challenges you will be entered for a chance to win a guest spot on the Creative Team. That means you could be a Polly for a month! Now, onto the great new challenges!
1. Product Challenge: Heather (talktoheather) is your host for this month’s product challenge. She’s asking that you make a page using your favorite product this month. That’s right, YOU get to pick the product and make sure you use it prominently so we know what your favorite it. Upload your completed page to the Product Challenge Gallery.
2. One Word Challenge: The One Word Challenge this month is hosted by Dana. She is challenging you to use the word “Change” in your title. In the forum, Dana gives some great ideas of ways to use Change on your page too. Your completed page should be posted to the One Word Challenge Gallery. Here is a great sample page by Dana to get you started:
3. Scraplift Challenge: Renee (renee82) is hosting the Scraplift challenge this month and she chose the gallery of JanaM to inspire you. You can see her wonderful gallery here. Pick a page and then lift it! Post your lifted pages in the Scraplift Challenge Gallery.

4. Random Challenge: Michelle (mishou) is hosting the Random Challenge this month. She was inspired by all of the amazing Project Life Cards that have been popping into the store lately. Michelle is challenging you to create your own Project Life type of filler card. Your finished card should be posted in the Random Challenge Gallery. Here are a couple samples that Michelle made to get you started:

5. Template Challenge: Heather (HeatherB) is your host for the Template challenge this month. Amy Martin has generously made another fabulous free template for you to use for this challenge. You can use it as is, flip it, rotate or modify it however works for you! Complete pages should be uploaded to the Template Challenge Gallery. Here is a look at this month’s template:

6. Journaling Challenge: The journaling challenge this month is hosted by Julie (mrs2a50). She is challenging you to journal about what makes something what it is. For instance, what makes you, you. Julie has some other great ideas for this challenge in the forum thread. Your completed layout should be uploaded to the Journaling Challenge Gallery. Here’s is a sample layout from Julie:

7. BYOC Challenge: This Friday (April 6th) is BYOC release day for April and you are not going to want to miss this one! The BYOC Challenge will be posted HERE on Friday. For this challenge you just need to use products from the new BYOC from at least 3 designers and your page must contain at least 90% from the BYOC. Your LO can be posted to the BYOC Challenge Gallery.
You have until April 30th to complete these challenges. There are a few notes to remember while doing pages for these challenges. Your pages must contain at least 75% TLP products and you must do a unique page for each challenge. Do not combine one page for two challenges. Once you complete your page, be sure to post it in the appropriate gallery and then back in the individual challenge thread too so we can leave you some love! We also ask that you post all of your complete challenge pages in the THIS THREAD so we make sure to get you the correct coupon at the end of the month. If you have any other questions about the challenges, see the Challenge Guidelines thread HERE! Have fun!
I can’t wait to see what everyone creates this month! Keep an eye out for my post near the end of the month where I’ll feature my favorite pages from each challenge here on the blog. See you then!
