GREEN SMOOTHIE, ANYONE?
Hi everyone! I thought I’d do a post on Green Smoothies!
Anyone ever try them?
If you haven’t, you should.
They are packed with goodness for your body.
My husband and I drink them daily now.
If you’re someone who can’t stand eating your veggies, then try it this way.
I always reference back to the Simple Green Smoothies website for any information I may need.
Lots of informative tips and great recipes, too!
Here’s my blender doing what it does best…
I got started by trying their 30 day Green Smoothie Challenge.
They have another one starting on April 1st.
Great jump-start and once you get 21 days into it, you’ve made it a habit!
Now that’s one habit I can live with.

I even made a layout about it.

Keep in mind you don’t need to have a super expensive blender to make these.
You can use any blender you have.
Start with your greens and liquids first.
Blend those till you get a nice consistency, then add your remaining ingredients.
I recommend trying spinach first and then kale, and then {baby} romaine.
Your smoothie won’t taste like you’re eating a plant.
Use a 60/40 formula (60% fruits / 40% leafy greens).
Bananas are also a great way to naturally sweeten your smoothies.
Sometimes I’ll put 2 in if I’m making enough for two people.
And the little ones love them, too!
Great way to sneak in proteins and other goodness.
