Bits and Pieces: Threads of Transition

September is always a month of change—school schedules shift, the air cools, and routines adjust. At The Lilypad, it’s been no different. This month brought important transitions for both our community spaces and the events we love.

The big headline was our forum upgrade. With that complete, TLP is now officially running on a fully updated foundation—from server to store, blog, and now the forum. We still have tweaks ahead, but this was a major milestone in moving everything forward.

We’re also getting close on the advanced search function. It isn’t quite ready yet, but we’re hoping to roll it out soon along with other improvements that will make browsing and connecting easier.

September also marked the kick-off of our DSD festivities. The blog hop is still live (but hurry—it ends tomorrow –10/1 @ 1159 PM EST), and Thursday brings the launch of our brand-new Build Your Own Collection. We’ll also be introducing our new chat function during the celebrations, with live events and fun ways to connect scheduled throughout.

With September wrapped up, October opens with fresh energy and plenty to look forward to. Thanks, as always, for being part of the journey.
