You've Been BOOed!
by Gina Miller

My kids and I have been BOOing friends and family for years now. It's one of our favorite October activities! With this easy kit, you can put the finishing touches on some packages and get in on the action too!

Don't know what BOOing is? It's simple. You create a few packages of treats to give out to unsuspecting friends. In the past, we've done baking themed bags filled with cake or brownie mix, Halloween cupcake liners and/or toppers, frosting and sprinkles. We've also done bags filled with Halloween trinkets such as tattoos, stickers and mad scientist flasks filled with candies. You can make homemade treats to pass around too! Use your imagination, pack your BOO bags and then use my printables to finish them off (some easy instructions are included). Watch as Halloween cheer spreads throughout your neighborhood!

Included are two folders: flattened .JPG files as well as .PDFs. You get 6 printables: two versions of a BOO poem (one that allows you to state your name, one that allows you to remain anonymous), three colored "We've Been BOOed!" signs and a set of instructions that I also recommend printing and including with your BOO bags.

Happy Haunting!

Family Organizer Binder Kit: Pack 3

With the new school year and the start of Fall (AKA my favorite season!) underway, I had an overwhelming desire to organize pretty much every aspect of my life. Enter the Family Organizer Binder Kit.

Want to see my own personal organizer hard at work? CLICK HERE!

Included in this 3rd pack of printable pages are the following 10 sheets:

1) Awesome Craft Organizer.  I love this fun sheet! There's room to jot down ideas for your next three craft projects including pictures!

2) Beauty Log. A must for fellow girly girls! There's sections to log in the contact info for your hair and nail salons as well as charts to track your past appointments and the services provided.

3) Blogging Schedule. A two-week calendar with room for ideas and notes so you'll always have fresh Blog material on hand!

4) Detailed Daily Planner. There was a boxed-out daily planner in pack #2 but I also wanted something that would let me get even more organized: something broken down into times of day. The chart starts at 8:00am and runs through 7:00pm with room for notes every half hour. (Comes in two colors).

5) Envelope Labels. This was just a fun printable I included in case you want to decorate envelopes or folder pockets within your binder. Just print, cut on the light gray lines and adhere with glue dots. There are labels for: Coupons, Receipts, School, Bills, Recipes and Misc.

6) Layout Planner. A total favorite and if you're a fellow scrapper, I think you'll dig it too! There's room to plan out your next FIVE layouts! Yay! Use it for fun or CT work to keep track of your pages and scrapbook progress.

7) New Baby Log. Created after popular demand! There's a section to track diapers as well as a section to track feedings. You can even jot notes at the bottom such as baby's nap times for the day.

8) Pet Log. Another sheet created after you guys requested it! Never lose track of your pet's important info again. You can log general info such as breed, vet's contact info, groomer's info, etc. There is a chart to keep track of shots/vaccinations and a grooming record too!

9) Project Planner. Have grand plans for your home? Use this simple project planner to keep track of your big ideas!

10) Sick Child Care Sheet. Unfortunately, a must especially once Winter rolls around. I am always jotting down temps and medicine doses on a scrap paper. Not anymore! Print a sheet when your child is sick and log the date, time, temperature, medication given, etc.

All sheets are designed to be printed full-bleed 8.5" x 11".

I recommend downloading and installing the font I used throughout these sheets which can be found right here: DejaVu. If not installed, a replacement font from your system will replace DejaVu and certain spacing will be thrown off.

You get each sheet as a .PDF file in case you want to print and go (and don't have access to Photoshop) as well as a .PSD so you can customize certain items to your liking.

Make sure you pick up my Starter Pack and Pack 2 so you have even more sheets to fill in your binder!

Happy organizing!

Included in this 2nd pack of printable pages are the following 10 sheets:

1) Babysitter Info Sheet.  There's room for you to fill-in your child's favorite snacks, bedtime routine, etc as well as an area for emergency numbers and of course - where to contact you! Print and leave for the babysitter the next time you have to head out.

2) Big Book Lists. A simple spreadsheet for you to keep track of your reading material. There are two versions - one for adults and one for kids with a column for minutes read.

3) Daily Food Log. Print weekly and fill it out everyday! There's room for 3 meals plus snacks and water. On the .psd file I included "calories" and "WW points" text prompts that you can leave on or turn off if that's something you like to track.

4) Daily Planner. Quite possibly my favorite, most-used sheet! Print one nightly and fill it in so you know exactly what needs to be done the following day. It's broken down into colorful, labeled sections so you can't miss anything!

5) Favorite Dessert Keeper. I love cooking and baking for my family but sometimes at the last minute, my mind goes blank when I think about what to make! I figured a sheet to store our faves would be handy. p.s. I also created a RECIPES tab in my personal binder so these could work hand-in-hand!

6) Favorite Meal Keeper. Same idea as above only listing less sugary dishes. :)

7) Important Dates. Never forget a birthday or anniversary again!

8) Kid Chore Chart. A detailed, kid-friendly chore chart. Aside from the title, the .pdf is blank so you can fill in anything you want. On the .psd, I left our kids' chores to jump start your own list. The .psd also has bubbles the kids can check-off or color in. HINT: Print and laminate these sheets (or stick them in a plastic page protector). You can write on them with dry erase markers and use them week after week!

9) Weekly Menu. Runner-up for my favorite printable. :) Plan a week's worth of meals, jot down the ingredients you need to purchase for each and stick a copy on your fridge. Simple and efficient!

10) Workout Log. Track your calorie-burning efforts. There's room to list assorted activities as well as a more detailed runner's log area.

All sheets are designed to be printed full-bleed 8.5" x 11".
