When I'm teaching I love to explore adding all kinds of layers of textures with my classes. This class happened to be making circles out of different htings to use for stamps, and I thought you digi friends just might like a set of your own too!

Remember the lines and swirls made playing around on an etch-a-sketch? I've loved it since I was a little girl and realized recently how similar it is to doing a continuous line drawing (where your pen never leaves the paper!) You can make Lines and strokes and swirls and borders, but you have to create your drawing without picking up the pen. Super fun! I often find that the best way to "get your ART on" is to grab a pen and start scribbling! No perfect lines, no rules, no thinking! And the results end up holding a real artistic freedom that can't help but capture the eye in a pleasing way. Don't we all need a little more freedom?!
