Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear about this. Talk about feeling violated...
Thankfully you are safe. I wish you well, that Backblaze did an awesome job on your backup.

I'm sorry that happened to you, Jennifer. I hope you get your files back. I feel your pain. I had lost a hard drive recently, and I went to get my files from CrashPlan, and they had deleted 2TB of my data by accident (and that 2TB was 2TB of digi files).

I'm now missing half of 2015 Memory Pockets Monthly collections, along with all of the add-ons I bought. I've repurchased some of them, but I couldn't bring myself to buying the kits all over again. There's just so much I lost. Your backup is supposed to prevent this sort of thing. That's what you pay for. I just realized I've gone on a rant. Sorry. :backing

Feeling sick to my stomach after realising only 13gb of 130gb or so had uploaded to Backblaze and i'm pretty sure I didn't have a full back up on my external as I was still in the process of organising my stash. Potentially 10 years of supplies gone..........needless to say @NancyBeck I might just be enquiring about the order reset process

oh Jennifer, so so sorry to hear this..... it has happened to me that when I went to recover/restore after one of my EHDs died from Crash Plan, lots of the folders came back empty....so I kinda know the feeling :(

Maybe you should inquire to @NancyBeck to! The reset fee might be smaller than repurchasing?

well had some good news today, our insurance claim was accepted - everything that was stolen has been approved. Today my mum paid the excess to the supplier and laptops has been ordered for pick up in a week when we will pick up the rest of the electronics. It is a slightly better machine than I had and will have only cost me $230 for the extended warranty which I'll pay when I help pick everything up. Between everything that was stolen we are getting about $4600 worth of stuff for $270 excess ($400 minus the $130 for the alcohol that was stolen)

That is crazy. Friends of ours once had someone break into their house while they were sleeping. The thief took their opened cereal boxes and other food from the kitchen.
