I keep almost everything and buy new EHDs... I tried to "clean and delete", but this is so time-consuming...
@sucali it's easy to START purging as you go (deleting redundant folder previews or TOUs, etc), but it is hard to go back and delete stuff. I'm now vigilant about going thru things as I unzip, but going back isn't fun.
I have had some great progress on de-stashing. So far I have cleared out almost 20 gig of digi stuff over the last week. I have found doing it in little bits that it isn't quite so tedious, half hour a day (some days...) and it feels good!!! I had a fail.. oh wait no, my 1 year old pulled my EHD of the table and it went THUD, beginning of last year. I was devastated, it was, at that time, the only copy of my digi stuff and photos as I had formatted my computer the day before (and I had no online backup at that point). I was extremely luck though, because hubby is quite computer-minded and did some research on how he might be able to fix it, and was able to get it working long enough to get everything off it. My heart goes out to you
I've been scrapping since 2006 and last year finally deleted *a few* kits ... I deleted a number of pages I'd created but just can't bring myself to get rid of the kits (even though most of the kits were designed by artists no longer in the business!)
I love it! See, you never know when you're going to use something! (That was my dad's favorite saying and it drove mom nuts! He loved to save everything.)
