Heard back this morning, due to 2 other applicants having more experience than me I didnt get either of the 2 positions. In this case it wasnt about anything I did or didnt do which on one hand is great but on the other hand incredibly frustrating.
Although not what you hoped for, that is still some great, positive feedback! Hopefully they will keep you in mind for future positions, or may even be able to recommend you to someone else who is looking to fill a similar position! This really has happened. I have helped on a hiring board where we didn't take a candidate because they just weren't the best fit for us, but we felt they were a strong candidate all over, and we ended up passing their name along to another unit in our organization where we thought there'd be a good fit.
i can see how frustrating this would be -wish i had a crystal ball but i'm sure the right spot for you will come along soon!
That sucks, Jennifer, but like you said, that was not b/c of you it was b/c of the others' qualifications. Hang in there, the right job will come along.
I'm so sorry they didn't work out for you. I know it's disheartening. I'm still praying for you. Try to trust that it will all work out. The right job for you is probably just around the corner! Many hugs...
I'm sorry that it didn't work out Jennifer!! And I understand the frustration, I've been there. But I hope you'll take away more of the positive side from this then the negative. In the end you'll get there.
I'm so sorry, Jennifer, but one of these days your ship will sail and when it does you'll thank God for unanswered prayers because it will be perfect for you in every way. It will probably even happen when you are least expecting it!
Bummer! I'm glad they gave you good feedback though. It sucks that the others had more experience, but it's nice to know that you did well on the interview - just like you thought!
Oh gosh, I'm so sorry to read this! I will continue to pray that the "perfect" position for you presents itself really quickly!! Sending you hugs!!
So sorry to hear that. Hope and pray another opportunity opens up for you and that they like you best. {{{hugs}}}
So sorry... bummer news but positive steps. Also that probably means there is something better coming that you'd miss if you were already tied up in the job there. Best wishes!
