If I remember correctly, there's an edge style you can apply to the outline to get that pin look!! Huggles!! ~Sarah~
first off, WHOA! Love all of the April goodies! Second of all, add me to the "PLEASE OH PLEASE OH PLEEEEEEEASE include your Texas pin!" list @angiekey It looks great and I'll totally use it!
Really-off topic, but wouldn't those be cool done up, with the color of the month's byoc (to put on page, for handy reference to color palete)
In real life I'm a strict rule follower, but when it comes to enamel pins I seem to have a problem sticking with the 5 pins only rule. Perhaps I can blame it on too much cinco de mayo fiesta fun? The balloons were for my sister's birthday in June, but then I started thinking about all of the gender reveal parties that are popular these days and balloons got out of hand.
Wheee! I can't figure out what to do then suddenly, I can't limit myself to just 5, lol. These are fun to make. Now, caveat!! I did all but the house and axe myself using pen tool. The creature was all mine, the other were not traced but I was staring hard at some pics on the net. OH! I left the shield blank on purpose - you can place a 2nd pin on top or something that fits your LO.
Now a request - I struggle to find a good color for my metal rims. Does anyone have a color palatte they would be willing to share? So far, I've gotten better results with a gray but still not happy.
If that is your struggle, then please don't worry. I LOVE that popcorn! What exactly you don't like about it, I think it's super cool!
I do grey, the darker the grey the more I like it, and for golden I pick a yellowish brown. I haven't saved my color I always use the picker tool. I know, I know, I am no help. I love your pins, my daughter screamed, "MINECRAFT!". LOL!!!!
Since this is called the "May Edition" I assume the deadline of April 31 is a typo?? I sure hope so cuz I want in lol
Yes, it is. I was having the toughest time updating the thread that day it kept kicking me out before I could save. I got to change from 30th to 31st but the April to May didn't get saved.
I cut and paste (digitally of course) mine to put in the folder were I have all my BYOC things each month.
Open each file and go to IMAGE -> IMAGE SIZE and then change the size of each image from there. They should be less than 2 inches on which ever size is the largest.
@GlazeFamily3 Are you using Leah's Mommyish styles? If you are then you might be forgetting to apply the PIN BUILDER - Metal Rim Style from the set.
