12 DAYS OF AJ - Day #1

@michelepixels It sounds like you have a plan. Being inspired by something is exactly that. You can interpret it however you want. I don't think the art journaling police will mind.

 

Here is another I made: I am going to stick with this theme using Dawn's stuff

 

@michelepixels If I'm correct, you take inspiration from the prompts, either the lyrics of the song and/or the additional journal prompt. I don't think it has to be literal. For example, my page is based on the journal prompt about cocoa. Dalis will chime in about this if I'm wrong, I'm sure.

 

As you all know, I'm not really an art journal kind of person (per se), I kind of incorporate AJ with clustering, journaling and a mix of AJ/mixed media/traditional products. Here's my page.

 

I decided to go the "traditional" route for my series of ATC's:

 

First couldn't figure out what to do then couldn't stop tinkering. Now i'm 2 days behind on even starting more pages for this so I'm stopping, lol.
Cocoa...hit google trying to find a diving board to start from and wound up in Bruges...added something like 10 page ideas to my someday list...and decided each day would be some sort of 'trip.'

 

Here's mine for Day 1

 

I'm going with the traditional 12 days. "Not a creature was stirring..." I think maybe the mouse WAS stirring.
