Hi everyone! It's Friday, new goodies in the shop, a new challenge today and the start of the weekend, so it's going to be a great day! I'm sure you've been inspired by our the fun challenges that have been going on this week, so I hope you enjoy mine! Shapes come in all different sizes, kinds, and are the basic element of design. They can add interest to your pages, organize your pages or even direct your eye around you page. Sometimes, they can add meaning, convey feelings, and they can even create movement on your layouts. They are more important that you realize! Geometric shapes could be triangles, circles, hexagons, plus all the others we are used to seeing and thinking about when we first think of shapes. There are also shapes in design that are called Natural or Organic Shapes. This would include the shape of leaves, fruit, puddles, animals and more! So, for this challenge you are to be inspired by a shape. This shape that you choose should be used multiple times on your layout, and be easily seen as your chosen shape. You can use other shapes on your layout, but one must stand out! Here is my layout! As you can see, I chose to highlight the basic circle shape. I've got paint circles blended into the background, bokeh papers, circle elements, and lots of paint and dots! Can't wait to see what you choose and what you create! No pressure and have fun! Please follow the Lilypad Gallery Guidelines: Layouts must contain at least 50% TLP products (current or retired product from current designers; templates count as 15%.) Uploads must be less than 250k. List all credits; no off-site linking allowed.
Great challenge! I kinda wish we weren't leaving to go camping the second I get off work so I could go home and play. I'm going to play catch up next week though!
started layout around branch shape, to remember its being trimmed today, but found tomarow its the maple's 16th birthday
My repetitive shape is the leaf from I Choose You by LBW that I clipped chippy wood paper to from Moon Laughs and Whispers by Etc. by Danyale
C'est beau! J'aime le pourpre et le doux sentiment. Les fleurs en cascade sont parfaites avec la photo. Je suis tellement content que vous vous soyez membre! Vous devriez le placer dans la galerie, donc plus peut vous laisser l'amour. @Jolie-Coeur
