Pia Meet Pia. She introduced herself to me by telling me that she has a phobia of pet porcupines pirouetting in her parlor. She persuaded me to perch precariously on her piano while her persnickety parakeet “peep peep peeped” perpetually in precise pace with the whistling of the piping hot percolator. She had me post a page or two to her paternal papa, then took me on a tour of her lovely garden where things seemed perfectly normal (if you ignore the priest with the pompadour).
