Heathland: Misc Mixed Media Paperie & Collages

Heathland is a mixed media digital scrapbooking collection by Rachel Jefferies that coordinates with the October 2021 BYOC (build your own collection).

Wild, open landscapes that stretch over large areas, Heathland are abundant with bracken, gorse, heather and grasses. These rare landscapes are a habitat for many plant and animal species that cannot survive elsewhere. By late summer heathlands can be an eye-catching purple haze of heather whereas in autumn it will be awash in golden colours. The drying and darkening of bracken and grass found in heathlands is what first inspired this collection.
