Gokotta masks
$5.00
Gökotta is a Swedish tradition, of getting up early in the morning and go birdwatching and having a picnic usually in springtime, especially around a Christian holiday. People would go for a hike in the forest or gather in parks early in the morning, for socializing and eating, while listening to the spring birds, mainly the cuckoo (gök). With creating this collection, I took the creative liberty to elaborate on the concept of Gökotta as the conscious act of rising early to immerse yourself in the beauty of nature, the silence, the serenity -and to hear nothing but the birds.
Gökotta – masks contains 5 artsy masks, that can simply be used as artsy elements but are really fit for clipping photos (or papers, elements etc.) into. Masks let you have control over the visibility or transparency within the shape, so it is a powerful tool for creating artsy designs.
