What was your last purchase?

Was it a necessity or indulgence?

Have you had this before or is it a new item to you?

Did you pay cash or card?

What was your last purchase? A cropped hoodie in black (this afternoon).

Was it a necessity or indulgence? It could be either b/c with wide leg pants I need more cropped tops and jackets to style with the pants so partly necessity but also indulgence b/c I do have a few short tops and jackets but I didn't have a lightweight one like this new one.

Have you had this before or is it a new item to you? I have a black short nylon jacket but it has no hood so can be a bit more dressy than the new nylon hoodie I purchased today.

Did you pay cash or card? I paid debit as I am trying not to use the credit card as it was a bad habit for me before. Now I pay off the card monthly so no interest accrues.

What was your last purchase? A scrapbooking kit here at TLP!

Was it a necessity or indulgence? It was definitely an indulgence, though at the time (I need to finish this MOC layout, and I cannot possibly finish this MOC layout unless I purchase this kit! ...) it felt like a necessity, LOL

Have you had this before or is it a new item to you? It was on my wish list

Did you pay cash or card?
I paid by debit card

Got some new root beer twin popsicles that are delicious!

Did you pay cash or card?
Always card

I thought this was going to be about digiscrap kits and I would have to learn how to find my purchase history in our new store (if that's still a thing?). :)

My last purchase was some page protectors and stickers.

Not totally a necessity but I have some papers at work I want to put in sleeves in a three ring binder, and I'm always bribing my students with stickers for good behavior. ;)

I have purchased both items before!

Card. I pretty much never use cash anymore.

What was your last purchase? Groceries.

Was it a necessity or indulgence?
A little of both. I did Target curbside pickup and it was nice

Have you had this before or is it a new item to you?
I think we only bought our basic staples

Did you pay cash or card? Card

Repeat items, stocking up for this week

Did you pay cash or card?
Card. What’s cash?

What was your last purchase? A couple of things here at TLP for one of the challenges (Day 12)

Was it a necessity or indulgence? Well, it was necessary in my mind, to tell the story with the appropriate embroidery elements.

Have you had this before or is it a new item to you? Oh, I have lots of kits, but nothing in this theme from TLP.

Did you pay cash or card? Card via PayPal the Trusty.

What was your last purchase?
Like so many of us, it was groceries

Was it a necessity or indulgence?
A mix of both I'd say. While most items were necessities there were a few treats or things purchased in excess cause they were on sale. Like I didn't need a ice block but wanted one because it was so hot & I also didn't need to buy six bottles of iced tea in one go (it was on sale for $3.79 a bottle instead of $5.49. I generally don't buy it if it's over $4 a bottle), nor did I need to buy two bottles of ketchup that were also on sale. The way I generally shop is if there is a non perishable item that I buy regularly on sale & it doesn't hurt the budget to stock up a bit I will - generally this is salad dressings, savory sauces, long life milk, jam/preserves etc.

Have you had this before or is it a new item to you?
I'm very much a buy the same thing over & over again. The last new thing I bought was some lactose free high protein Greek yogurt - I'd only just realized that it was in fact lactose free when I looked at the nutritional panel

Did you pay cash or card?
I'm a cash girl through & through.

What was your last purchase?
My last big purchase is a robot vacuum cleaner but the last purchase is groceries.

Was it a necessity or indulgence?
My old robot vacuum cleaner no longer held its charge, and my partner didn't want to buy a new battery. He preferred to buy a new device (which is much more powerful).
As far as groceries are concerned, we have to stock up every week. There are four of us at home and we have to eat every day.

Did you pay cash or card?
We paid with card.

What was your last purchase?
some craft straw

Was it a necessity or indulgence?
needed for a piece of artwork for a Christmas Worship Meeting

Have you had this before or is it a new item to you?
used it once before when the children were smaller as packaging for a gift hamper

Did you pay cash or card?
cash

What was your last purchase?
Cappuccino and a chocolate tear and share style 'bun' with caramel drizzle.

Was it a necessity or indulgence?
The coffee a necessity and morning routine after school drop off - the bun? Breakfast was a necessity but the choice of something sweet and calorie heavy was pure indulgence oops!!

Did you pay cash or card?
Card

What was your last purchase? Cooked chicken and salad ingredients for dinner

Was it a necessity or indulgence? Bit of both, I could have bought a raw chicken and roasted it myself.

Have you had this before or is it a new item to you?
It's a standard item each week.

Did you pay cash or card? Credit card.

What was your last purchase? Well, I paid the electric bill this morning, but that doesn't really count does it? The last purchase I made was 2 items from Amazon... a box of black sharpies and then a squeegee window cleaner for my hubby.

Was it a necessity or indulgence? I don't think either were necessity. We were out of Sharpies and I'm constantly using them, so maybe they were needed? The squeegee was sort of an indulgence? My hubby is the one who cleans the windows, but he always uses so many paper towels and I'm hoping this will cut down on that.

Have you had this before or is it a new item to you? the squeegee is new to us. I hope it cleans well! :)

Did you pay cash or card? Always card! I earn points that I can redeem for cash, so I love that. And I always pay it off each month, so it's free money for us!

What was your last purchase?
McDonald's yesterday evening - a very rare occurrence.

Was it a necessity or indulgence?
Feels like a bit of both, I'm still not well since Christmas and not cooked at all since. Rather fed up of soup, scrambled eggs, and cheese and crackers which all I can be bothered to make myself. I really should have done the weekly shop but didn't have the energy, so went out to pick a few necesseties and a trip to McDonald's was a treat on the way back. I would not have made a trip out just for the McDonald's.

Have you had this before or is it a new item to you?
Obviously before, but we only have McD's a couple of times a year because I don' think it's worth the money, nor as nice as preparing burgers at home.

Did you pay cash or card?
Card, rarely use cash nowdays.

What was your last purchase? A waterproof changing robe (cheaper version of a Dryrobe)

Was it a necessity or indulgence? Necessity, we have an allotment so wanted a tidy coat for wearing when working on the allotment

Have you had this before or is it a new item to you? New item

Did you pay cash or card? I had vouchers for xmas to use

What was your last purchase? - Groceries and then a stop for the cat food I forgot to add to the grocery pickup lol

Was it a necessity or indulgence? - Definitely a necessity...our cupboards were bare

Have you had this before or is it a new item to you? - It was all mostly the same old stuff. I wasn't feeling creative with my food choices

Did you pay cash or card? - Walmart groceries I pay with Paypal or straight out of my bank account. The cat food I paid with cash because I just happened to have a little in my purse...that's pretty rare.

My last purchase was a few kits here at TLP - actually my last 2 purchases. They were of course an indulgence from anyone else's perspective (except maybe you all here); however, since I haven't been scrapping for such a long time, in order to participate in MOC they actually were a necessity!! I may have a few old kits that would still be acceptable according to the rules, but I didn't want to spend time digging through my old brokenish computer trying to hunt them down as I felt it might kill my mojo. So we call it a necessity! I paid with my debit. I don't use credit cards at all. I was naughty with them as a young person and man did they mess up my life!!
