I've had the same hair since college. Simple bob, all I have to do is wash and blow dry. I get it trimmed and re-shaped about every 6-7 weeks. I can't imagine spending any more time on my hair than this.

Isn't it so much faster not to fight it? I absolutely agree. And the decision to stop coloring my hair was one of the best I ever made.Do you style your hair everyday? Most days yes. All work days I wash it and style it. On the weekends, I'll usually skip Saturday, especially if I'm just around the house then it goes up in a messy bun and I ignore it.
How often do you get it cut? About every 12 weeks. I really don't need to cut it that often, but I'm usually going to get it thinned out and colored mostly. (so much gray these days)
Have you worn your hair the same for a while? or How often do you change it up? It's been mostly the same for at least 10 years now. I used to flat iron my hair straight then I was having more and more trouble getting it to straighten and then I realized that my hair had turned curly somewhere along the way. Now I let it just do whatever it wants. It's so much faster that way too!
I just love the hair wash/massage part of my visit. I almost fell asleep yesterday.Mine is typically shoulder-length and layered. Same basic style since college but in the last few years, I went to very long bangs and now no bangs at all. I am lazy about getting it cut so I go about 6 months, then get at least a couple inches cut off. I really dislike going for haircut and HATE having someone else wash my hair.
When I was still working, I almost always did a quick wet down and blow dry each morning, occasionally a flat iron in an unruly spot, but now I mostly just let it go.Do you style your hair everyday?
Most of the time I use one of my tools - curling iron, flat iron, blowdry brush. Sometimes I just tuck it behind my ears and don't worry about styling. I use texture spray most days to help with the fine hair.
How often do you get it cut?
About every 6 wks I get a trim.

I have varied the length a bit over the past 10 years but always keep it above the shoulders.
Well, I did it. I got my hair cut shorter than I had planned. After doing some research this morning, I settled on a layered shag type of style. It falls just below my ear in front to just above my collar in the back. She took off about 4 inches! I looked up to see when I last got it cut and it was 9 months ago. It feels weird but it should be very easy to maintain while on vacation. Definitely a wash & go style.Have you worn your hair the same for a while? or How often do you change it up? I changed to a shorter length about 2 years ago. With my health issues and going under anesthesia 6 times in 8 months, my hair was wrecked... thin and falling out. I don't like me in really short hair, prefer it to at least cover my ears and be about an inch below the ear. To add fullness on the top I had her cut short layers 2 years ago. I may have her add a few more layers tomorrow. Will have to talk it over with her and see what she thinks.
I hope you love the way it feels and it turns out as easy for vacation as you anticipate. I know my hair always takes about a week to "settle in" to a fresh cut for some reason even though I've worn it the same for so many years. I love a little short shag, but I honestly can't stand it around my neck.Well, I did it. I got my hair cut shorter than I had planned. every single time I decide that growing it out would be a fun change, it is a disaster and last time I told my stylist -- if I ever tell you I want to do that again, please, please, please remind me how much I hated it.Do you style your hair everyday? No, I air dry and brush it out. I used to blow dry and use a curling iron to give some body, but now I don't care to.
How often do you get it cut? Every six week...and yesterday was haircut day for me, too!
Have you worn your hair the same for a while? or How often do you change it up? Oh yeah been the same for a long time...the last time I tried to grow it out was in the late 90s and that was a disaster. I like it short with no sideburns.
I guess it all depends on where you live -- some of us live in the desert where summer temps will easily be upwards of 110 and we are trying to shed as many layers as we can.Do you style your hair everyday? Just on days that it was washed (I wash the night before, let it air dry, then flat iron or curl it in the morning)
How often do you get it cut? about every 8-9 months
Have you worn your hair the same for a while? or How often do you change it up? Yes, I've had it long for years! Reading through the replies had me laughing a bit - all you ladies saying you can't stand your hair on your neck, I am opposite! I get cold if it's pulled up, especially in the winter. My hair is like a blanket! I pull it up when I work out, but as soon as I stop I get chilly and put it back down around my neck.

Intrigued by the Rose Gold -- I bet it looks nice!Mines long, down past the middle of my back. I have curtain bangs and have had my hair this way for a long time. I only get trims occasionally. My hair is blonde with quite a bit of white now. Last night I used a box kit to dye it rose gold!
I've been toying with stopping the coloring too, but I don't think I have "pretty" gray hair. Lol. Your hair is gorgeous gray, so I absolutely would if I had your hair!Isn't it so much faster not to fight it? I absolutely agree. I honestly didn't think mine was going to be a pretty gray until my haircutter told me it would and that I was at least 90% gray at my roots (that was at the ripe old age of 54). I went for it -- easy with short hair.I've been toying with stopping the coloring too, but I don't think I have "pretty" gray hair. Lol.
