Hi everyone,
As we wrap up the year, I wanted to share two ways to close this chapter together — one in writing, and one in video.

I also recorded a short video to say thank you, wish you a Happy New Year, and share a few highlights as we look ahead — nothing polished, just from the heart: (forgive my appearance, what you see is what you get today, it's been a long 24 hours for me--had my daughter in/out of ER twice with the second requiring an emergent trip to the OR).



Thank you for your patience, support, and creativity throughout this year. Your presence here — made this rebuilding year possible.
Here’s to the next chapter. I’ll see you on the flip side. (or throughout the evening as I work on things.... LOL)

Loved seeing you live in the video. Thank you so much for being a strong leader and saving the Lilypad. This year has been awesome and I wish you continued success in 2026.

Thank you so much for what I can't begin to imagine must have been like in 2025, to steer the helm of TLP and making it even better.
I am truly grateful this dear digi home is still here and better than ever.

Blogging and vlogging in between ER and OR...girl, you crazy! And we love you! Hope everything is okay with your daughter. Before I watch the video, I will just echo the thanks of all of us here. We are so grateful that you stepped in to keep TLP going. The upgrades are amazing, the slate of designers is first class, and the activity just keeps me inspired and doing what I love, memory keeping and art journaling. Best wishes to you and yours for 2026 and Beyond!

What a lovely video and blog post. I'll echo what others have said - I'm so thankful that you took on The Lilypad and have worked so hard in getting everything upgraded and stabilised. I can' begin to imagine how much hard work that was. Wishing TLP continued success and hoping that your daughter is healing.

You have done a great job here, Esther! I love the new designers and old ones who came back. So happy for MOC. And of course, the community is fantastic!

Hope your daughter is ok, Esther. I’m very sorry to hear about what your daughter has (and you as a family have) been going through. Wishing her a full, smooth, and speedy recovery.

Thank you for your message but I honestly don’t know whether to applaud your incredible dedication to TLP… or gently say you might be a little bit crazy for taking the time to record a video while going through all of this, LOL. Please remember to take care of yourself as well, we all want & need you here, both healthy and happy!
Thank you for everything you did and do for us and for The Lilypad. Without you, there wouldn't be this place we call home.

First and foremost, I hope your daughter is on the mend. And may that be the last of the roughness that was 2025 so you can start 2026 in a less stressful way.

I cannot imagine the nightmare that was updating the back end (and I am sorry I kept breaking things!) but it's done and the site is gorgeous. The community is thriving. You did it! Thank you so much for everything.
