Can you guess what I’m doing today? ;)

Every year I buy Christmas wrapping paper at Costco. I love the quality and that it’s double sided so I get six different patterns out of a three pack. I wish they sold the same wrapping paper for birthdays year round but no such luck.

I use a different paper for each kid but they don’t know which paper is theirs until Christmas morning so I can wrap presents early but they don’t know which ones are theirs (no peeking!).

This year I used all tan patterned papers and I really don’t like it because the presents aren’t colorful enough! I’m definitely going back to bold and bright next year.

How about you? Where do you buy wrapping paper for holidays and birthdays? Is it double sided? Do you go for colorful and fun, classic red and green or neutrals? Do you wrap presents as you buy them or make it a one day event?

Many things I do tend to be cheap on…. But for some reason my brain with Christmas wrapping and ribbon is like ok, go ahead, it will be so pretty with the bows….

We have these amazing double-sided rolls that my hubbie picked up last year for Christmas (he thinks he got them at Walmart). The rolls are huge, they will last us for years! They are brightly coloured and look great under the tree.

We wrap as we get the gifts and put them under the tree. The boys are old enough to not go peeking now! :)

I’m a glutton for punishment. I still wrap the night before. Funny thing is my kids don’t snoop. I have one of my daughter’s presents in the pantry. She doesn’t realize she sees it everyday and she hasn’t even tried to figure out what is in the sealed box.

On a side note, my dog loves present so I do think he’d try to open them
If they were out too long.

my husband buys wrapping paper in the January sales. I haven't started wrapping yet, but will need to do so soon. I hate leaving the wrapping until the last minute, which is what normally happens

I don’t think a pic will help since this is paper I bought last year but here you go (hopefully thumbnail is big enough?).

I am cheap too so I like this idea! Is the dollar store paper good or does it tear when you try to cut it? I cannot deal with paper that constantly tears lol

Yes to reusing bags and tissue paper too! My daughter is appalled that I still have bags from when she was a baby lol

I’ll have to check Walmart! DH bought some big rolls there last year but they’re one sided and tear and drive me crazy.

I’ll have to watch the January sales. Good luck with your wrapping; I’m taking a break from mine to lay in bed (priorities).

In the past, I have bought Costco paper but I accumulated SO MUCH that I actually threw a bunch away this year. I lean toward very bright colorful and fun papers and use a variety. My 24 YO daughter is the opposite - I'd say that she has a bit of the modern Boho vibe that is popular in that generation and so she wants all vintage-vibe Christmas with lots of white with a little dark green and dark red. Everything must coordinate. :D Here are some of the things she wrapped.

That was me today, wrapping up gifts! :stash
I usually have different papers for different people, but this year I decided to mix it up since I had gift tags for everyone, and I thought it would be more fun not to know in advance who got what. :rollin
This year I'm traveling so I bought some gift wrap locally - single sided. I got some gnome-themed since my husband always makes fun at how gnomes are now all the rage. :tree

Very unusual for me, I just took out paper and wrapped. No, not a colour per person, and no coordinating.
Rosie's big prezzie from us this year is tickets to My Fair Lady - hence the brown envelope.

You’re smart to wrap at a table! I wrap on the floor and it’s not very comfortable.
