Glad you were able to enjoy your trip...will keep you all in my thoughts for a successful surgery. ((HUGS))
So sorry I am only seeing this now Ama. I am thrilled to hear the tumor is benign and that you had a terrific trip to Alaska. I will be keeping positive thoughts for tomorrow.
Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. Unfortunately, after tumor removal, they now feel that it is (WAS!) much more aggressive than they thought. BUT, they did remove it all!!! Surgery was a success! Once the pathology report comes back, we'll know what kind of cancer we are dealing with, but we are hopeful that radiation will be enough to take care of anything that may remain.
So glad that surgery was successful. Sending positive thoughts for a good result on the pathology report.
Well, I'm glad they removed it all, but will keep praying for good results and effective treatment plans.
Spinal tap and spinal MRI are today. Suture removal too. We meet with the oncologist Thursday. It's going to be a crazy week. On top of it all, I have open house at work tomorrow. YIKES!
Peeking in after a few month off. Sorry to hear your news and sending prayers and lots of virtual hugs.
Ok. So we have a plan of action in place. He has a very rare adult medulloblastoma. Well, he did before they removed it! He starts radiation this coming week. We have been going to Roswell, which we are lucky to have nearby. I'm feeling very optimistic and so is he. I want to thank you all for your thoughts, prayers, and well wishes.
So happy to read this news and I do hope the worst is behind you both now! Prayers for smooth treatments and continued recovery!!! HUGS!!!!
Ama ... thinking of you and hoping the treatments go well. So glad they got the tumor out in full ... and that things seem very optimistic, that is wonderful news!
