love me some vellum
I missed this whole post- but I LOVE vellum! Leah (Mommyish) makes some AWESOME Vellum styles- this one included in the October SToryteller collection is polka dots- SO fun!
HEre's a few of my faves:
This polka dot one is one of my favorite styles from her, because the polkadots are random.
I'm still trying to learn how to use vellum effectively. I don't have pin light or linear light blending modes. Which of these would you use?
Angela, in your case I would still use something like multiply but with a lighter color of the background color. Something that might help would be if you "remove" the unwanted shadow. Can you put your shadow in it's own layer? Let me make some snapshots for you, ok?
No, it's not possible to remove the unwanted shadow or separate it from the element.
Ok, I found a workaround, let me make another video, because it's hard to explain. LOL!!!

Vellum is awesome, I bought this style during the iNSD sale and can't wait to try it out.
I forgot to do some CU shopping! The vellum styles are so pretty!
