I'm enjoying a lovely weekend of scrapbooking with a friend of mine this weekend. We are holed up in my craft room and listening to music and scrapbooking the days away. We both took today off work, so she came on Thursday night and we'll scrapbook all weekend long. My main goal is catching up on all of the MOC challenges that I haven't had time to complete yet.

I started last night having finished 4 challenges. Now I've finished 10 of them. I'm almost caught up! Woo-hoo! Who else it catching up this weekend?
 
Our weather is definitely stay at home with your knitting and scrapping! ⛄️ I have today’s and yesterday’s to do. Happy to have kept up to that point. And boy do I ever need a scrapping weekend. The last one we’ve had and I could attend was pre-COVID.
 
I'm caught up. If I get more than a day or two behind, I get overwhelmed. That happened to me in year 3 or 4 that I participated, and I almost gave up, so my strategy for most of the MOC's I've done has been to stay within 1-2 days.

KUDOS to the fast scrappers who can do multiple layouts in a day. I'm a slow scrapper.

well, I'm good until day 10, so I have only 2 pages missing...3 if we count for tomorrow's...I hope to catch up during the weekend!!!
 
Right now, I’m only behind finishing the filled template. I’ve started and have it mostly done. Tomorrow I’ll be watching my grandson all day. So, hopefully Sunday I’ll be finishing filled template and whatever Saturday and Sunday bring (13&14).

I normally get overwhelmed when I'm behind too, but I knew that I was going to have this whole weekend to catch up so I wasn't too worried. If I get behind after this weekend though, I'll be a little more worried about it. :giggle

I'm a slow scrapper too... and I seem to get slower and slower every year! Ha ha!

Hop on a plane and we'll have a scrapping weekend sometime! :D I am definitely lucky to have ONE in real life friend who gets my love of scrapping! :agree

That sounds totally do-able. And you can get some fun pictures with your grandson to scrap more pages too. Win-win!
 
I was only a day behind, so no stress here yet . . . but how cool to have a friend to scrap with! I haven't done that since the days of paper scrapping. I do have a friend who I video chat with when we are both crafting.
 
I'm so behind :D it's so busy at work and all things at home as well. But I've got this weekend nothing planned, so I wanna catch up as much as I can. I've read all the challenges everyday, so in my mind I'm thinking about the colors, the pictures I can use, so I hope catching up is coming fast.
 
Enjoy your weekend of scrapping! Not a weekend to be out and about. I am caught up aside for today's venn diagram. Our power is iffy, was out for several hours during the night and has been intermittent this morning. Too many trees, too much heavy snow.
 
I am so behind but am not panicking too much as I have put zero expectation on myself. Not sure how much I'll get done to be honest as I'm coming up to probably a week or so busy period that I did know about.
 
I've made all layouts except today. Not even sure where to begin with that one!
 
I think next weekend will have to be my catch up weekend ... school, family in town, birthdays, and doctors appointments all seem to creep in and "steal" my scrapping time, lol.

Yeah, we started doing paper scrapbooking retreats where we'd share a bedroom and they'd make all our meals, then we decided we could just do our own with the two of us and make our own meals and save some money. She has a cute little lake cottage that we use sometimes too, but this weekend the weather is horrid so we are staying at my house. That's so fun that you video chat while crafting.

Hopefully you can go hide this weekend and get caught up. I do love reading the challenges and stewing about ideas for a bit ahead of time. Then when I get time, I can just get started.

Definitely not a weekend to be out and about! It's finally cold and snowy! We definitely didn't get as much snow as they were saying we were supposed, but they still closed school yesterday. Lol. I hope your power settles! It's too cold to be without power!

That's great that you're not stressing, that a good place to be! Then you can have fun with the ones you do get done.

Wow, nice that you've kept up to date. Yeah today's took some thinking for me too. I've seen some cool ones already in the thread that were pretty clever.

That's good you'll have a weekend to catch up. I totally hear you on real life stuff stealing scrapping time. That happened to me all last week and next week is going to be busy too. Don't they know it's MOC month!?!?! :giggle
 
I’m catching up this weekend, I have to go back to day 7, I don’t know why I have problems with that day it should be simple enough. Lol.
