So when places start opening up again, and we are allowed to wander a little more freely, where is the first place you are going? Is there a store or restaurant that you miss? Maybe a park?

First and foremost, I want to see my mom and give her a squeeze! But as far as places, I want/need to go back to the gym so badly. I also want to go sit down at our favorite Mexican restaurant. But basically, I'd just like to go anywhere that doesn't involve groceries haha.

What about you?

We are going to finally have our trip to Nashville! And survey/house hunt in Murfreesboro. So glad most will be open in next two weeks.

LOL :clappy Costco!

There are a bunch of basic household supplies that will actually run out in a month or two. I usually make a big purchases twice a year or so. Otherwise, I may ask my 18 hs senior granddaughter to meet me half way in Richmond so I can give her her Feb birthday present - my pearls. (plus a graduation gift of cash)

What a wonderful gift! Hope you get to do that soon!
I'd kinda just like to go to the store and casually browse instead of trying to dart in and out.

Hmm - have not thought about this yet. They keep extending the dates here and part of me does not want to be disappointed.
I hadn't thought too much about it until I wrote this post, other than seeing my mom. And I totally left out the hairdresser...sheesh...that needs to be my first stop for sure!

Not even thinking about it yet. I've survived this so far and I don't want to be caught in the 2nd wave that will probably come. I fall into both the age and health risk areas so if I have to wait a year to do something exciting, I will. Of course, I need to get the dental issues fixed before doing anything like even eating out and who knows when dentists will be back to work... dental labs are closed as well. Those that are open now have other focuses... making swabs for testing.

I did go out yesterday to our library because they just opened up curbside pick-up of library holds. Otherwise, I'm happy to stay in longer. I'm hoping that in a few weeks we might be able to help our son & his fiancee move into their new house, but we'll see.

THings here in PA haven't really 'opened up' yet. But when they do, the first two places I'm going are the greenhouse (some are open now, but I want to be safe), and the CRAFT STORE! Even though I may not buy anything at the craft store, it just makes me happy, just like the greenhouse!

I'm looking forward to hitting Massimos Italian Restaurant (down by the Brisbane river) followed up by drinkies at Mr Percival's, which is what I had originally planned for my birthday celebration before the world went Covid-shaped :).

Here in Australia we have been so lucky with the low number of cases compared to many places in the world and in my state QLD the restrictions are being eased next weekend but I have crafting, jig-saws and books a plenty so will be staying right here for a little longer .... just to be safe :). I don't doubt there will be a second wave so I am happy to hunker down for a bit longer.

I need to go to Five Below and H&M and see if they still have the cozy stretch pants. They're the BEST I've ever had - comfort wise and they were $5 and $7!!

I will wait a bit even after stores open up before I go out. With not enough testing done to achieve enough data to fully understand how much of the population has already been exposed, there's no way to tell if it's still safe to go out. I understand why people want to go out but history has showed when that happened, there was a 2nd wave.

I am itching to get back to my volunteer work in Aged Care.... I miss those elderly people so very much. They are like family to me. One precious lady turns 100 next month so I hope the lock down is over by then so her family can celebrate with her.

That is lovely, @A-M Annemarie! May you bear witness of that freedom to do so soon! :pray

Aww man! I wish I'd known that! Drove right past Five Below just awhile ago when picking up hubster's bike!
Hearing rumors that Hobby Lobby will be opening back up this week. I am not afraid to go at all. But to each his own. Me, I am looking forward to it and getting on with life. We never had control of life before this anyway; not truly! We are just more aware of that now.:heartlub:yup And I won't wear any tracking bracelet in the future.:nope :p.

Wish I could get my mom to to wait things out. I feel like she's going to be the first one in the stores! Glad you are being safe!!

Fingers crossed you are able to help your son!

Ohhhh the greenhouse!! Another place that I really want to go!! One of ours is doing curbside pickup if you call and order ahead, but man, I love just walking through the plants and flowers!!

Yes, the Italian restaurant here, too!!
Glad you are being safe!!

I love Five Below! Unfortunately, or fortunately for my wallet, the closest one to us is about an hour away lol
