I've got the boxes in the living room. The ornaments are off the tree and the wall decor is taken down. But I still have the rest of the ornaments on the dresser and fireplace and the tree is still standing.

Wondering if I'll manage to get the rest boxed up before 1st February. What's the latest you've still had Christmas decorations displayed?

Um- So my "WINTER" Tree is still up! lol. It is snowflake themed, so as much as my family is irritated by me- they know it's not coming down until probably February! I do take down all the santa stuff around first of January and then I have an extensive collection of pretty trees that stay out on table tops & a lot of snowflake decor too- so that all stays out through winter. Usually around February I'll put it away!

We had one year where due to illness the tree didn't go up until Christmas Eve, so they stayed up until the last week of January.

Probably this year when it came tree came down around the 10th of January or so. I had all but the tree gone the day after Christmas, but left it for a little bit longer.

Um, this year might be it. We have changed the mantle decorations back to normal and put away the nativity that was set up on the hearth, but everything else is still up. It's been a busy month and we decided that we really need to go through everything and consolidate stuff and get rid of some stuff we don't use, so finding time to do all that has delayed things.

This year ours only went up four days before Christmas, so I wanted to leave them out a little longer to make it worth the effort...
I've been considering leaving a few of the more winter themed items out, but then goodness knows when they would eventually get put away!

This year. I finally got it all down on Jan 28 and in a bin, but the bin is still not in the attic. We still haven't gone through the ornaments that we used this year vs the others we did not use. We were happy with our selection, but parting with old ornaments is so hard.

My Mother drilled it into me that the tree had to be down by the 12th night after Christmas. But lately I am ready to take it down as soon as the 26th of December.

I'd have to go look to be sure, but I'm usually pretty eager to take down the tree and the decorations and get the clutter out of my house. :giggle We don't really have room for the tree anywhere due to weird room layouts and large pieces of furniture, so it's in my way when it's up. Lol. I usually have it down before NYE, but have gone a few days into January a couple times too.

Well that would be assuming that Christmas even visited this house.....it didn't really so no tree or decorations to worry about this past year or for probably the last five in fact.

LOL one year when I was growing up and was in my teens, my mother did not want the tree down. It was in our finished basement so you didn't see it unless you went down there... My Mother finally gave in in March when my father asked her if she was planning on putting Easter Eggs on it as ornaments!!!

Here we put it up the day after Thanksgiving and take it down the weekend after New Years.

I can’t remember but probably the first week of January. I put mine away fast these days though so we have more space.

Everything is put away except the Lego Advent calendars which are still on the buffet. They seem to always stick around until February!

I usually try to get it all put away the first week of January. I need my space back!

We take our tree down either the first or second week of January, depending on the yard waste collection schedule :) Admittedly, it's a lot less fun taking stuff down than putting it up!

Mine always comes down Jan 1st or 2nd. What changed for me last year was when I put it all out. Generally I put the tree/decor up mid month in Dec but I put it all up at the end of November. I will continue that, it made it so much easier to not try to juggle that in December, at the time we are shopping, socializing, etc.

We usually have all the Christmas decorations taken down before New Year’s Eve, but some years it has gone a few days into January.

Growing up, my mom was always taking the tree down as soon as possible. We joked that she would take it down before we could even unwrap all the presents.

I don't put a lot out for the holidays to begin with. Several table top trees (that are fully decorated and covered in plastic to store), a wall hanging, a ceramic lighted tree and a couple other small things. I always leave stuff up until at least January 1 but because I wasn't feeling good in early January, some of it stayed up longer this year.

Everything is put away except the ceramic lighted tree. I still have it on the kitchen counter but I don't turn the lights on. I have had that tree for over 40 years and have decided that I might just leave it out permanently. Along with the small table top tree (that is on top of a bookcase in my computer/craft room) that has been out since I got it in 2016

My tree usually comes down the weekend after new year's day. This year I took down new year's day. However I purchased Target's "Reunion Birds" this year, along with a couple of deer and extra trees. They just came down the other night.
