Just curious. I'm having a lazy day. The kids did chores this morning, I'll pack the car to go home later. Right now? Just lazy time.

How about you?

The kids just made s'mores in the microwave LOL!! I'm thinking of taking them to get a hot dog for a super late lunch at 2:00 from Sonic since they'll be 99 cents.

We had my stepson this weekend and hubby has to take him home this evening...he's bored here with our girls and with the heat there isn't much we can go and do, so I feel bad about :( It's hard when there's a 13 year old boy and the age gap between the girls.

OH! I want to make s'mores. I saw a how to do it solar, maybe I'll do that when we get home!

It was so much fun!!! I don't know if the plastic I used (I stole the cover to one of my cutting mats) had anything to do with the cooking time or not, but it worked!

Just got home! I started off today with some scrappy time! Oh Yah! Then collected all my pop/beer returnable, headed to the grocery store to do those. Yes! $16.00 into my pocket! We ended up having 2 weekends filled with family and they bring their own 'drinks' but leave the cans/bottles here, so today was the day I decided to return. Headed off the the McDonalds drive threw to get myself a diet for the road. Headed to return a couple dvd we borrowed. Then off to my sister-in-laws to return her table clothes that I borrowed for my daughters baby shower, visited for an hour, then headed to my son's house to take care of his dog Timber. Watched Fear the Walking dead and Alone there. Headed to the outlet mall as I had a $10 rewards for Eddie Bauer ended up getting myself a summer sweatshirt that is off white with white stars on it original cost $39.99 on sale for $19.99 with my $10 off I got it for $10!! Oh Yah! Then walked to Bath and Body Works and bought 3 C.O.Bigelow soaps with 3 matching lotions for $20 Oh Yah!!! came home to realize one of my dogs had to go bathroom really really bad...... was loose Oh No! so she made her way around the table with drops all the way around................. at least it was on the hardwood and not the carpet!..... house airing out now.

I'm being extremely lazy today. Clara left this morning around 9 for a dance intensive and probably won't be home until around 9pm (depends on how many extra classes she does tonight). My husband left for the airport this morning. Alex is home, so we binge watched the rest of the new season of Kimmy Schmidt on Netflix. Now he's getting ready for work and won't be home until around 11pm.

I'm trying desperately to work on project life, but I can't get motivated, so instead I sit here and wander around on the internet. Need to focus!!

Slept in late this morning. Made beds and emptied dishwasher. Showered and got ready. Worked for about an hour. Got Daniel ready and took him to his yearly well check appt. We just got back home and I'm going to be online for a bit posting layouts and then I'm going to scrap!

My usual day during the week - Get up at 4:30 am, go exercise for 30 minutes, go to work, drive home and now computer time (hopefully some scrapping)

I am trying to scrap and I have started the same layout 4-5 times and just can't get it the way I want. I hate it when I am not happy with a layout and keep trying but it just does not seem to work.

I bought stuff to make s'mores yesterday and the kids couldn't wait for a fire outside and have made several each already in the microwave. Hot dogs for us this evening, too. :)

I had to get up early and get ready to take DS to the dentist. It's about an hour each way, so we spent most of our time on the road. Thankfully, we only have to make one more trip and the work is done. Other than that, I haven't done much of anything except make the beds and put in a load of laundry.

Walk away! Or at least that's my trick. I walk away and make a different one. Then come back to it. I'm sorry. I hate struggling with layouts. :badputer

We returned yesterday after a week of Theater On Ice Nationals in Indiana, followed by a CPR/First Aid course last night. We then had to get DD packed for camp, staying up until 2:00 am. If you know me, you know that I regularly go to bed around 9:30! We had to get up at 5:45 to finish packing and we left for the airport late, and without some stuff she couldn't find. Luckily she'll be able to purchase or rent what she needs once she gets there. It was wonderful to be able to just drop her off at the airport rather than having to drive to Vermont to drop her off.

Needless to say I'm beat, so I took a nap when I couldn't keep my eyes open. I'm not a napper, so hopefully I'll be able to sleep tonight. In the meantime I'm catching up with converting some templates into .page format, downloading and organizing kits for CTs, and trying not to fall asleep before 9:00.

I live such an exciting life.

That's awesome!!! Microwave s'mores are good...but man they don't know what they're missing when the marshmallows aren't roasted over a fire!! Sooo much better!

You've had a busy week, Jan. Did you get your posters made? I remember you were asking for kit ideas to go with the drawing. Would love to see the finished product.

Try to get some rest as soon as you can. I'm tired just reading about everything you've done...lol.

Finishing up a secood term before taking a summer break from school (:agree) and house shopping with Hubster!!!!:cloud9

I want to get a fire pit this fall just to make s'mores LOL!!
Ooo...that sounds great. Fire pits are so cool. You'll have to do a LO on your first s'more cookout.

We usually make s'mores in the winter when we have the fireplace going. Love the big, fluffy ones! We didn't make any this year because it just didn't get cold enough to have the fireplace blazing hardly at all. I'm hoping this year we actually have a winter. I'm so jealous of all the glorious snow pictures I see.
