(I do actually live out "when life gives you lemons, make lemonade" - it's just my default, but sometimes I question whether that is always a good way to be and maybe I should have grumbled or given up more often )

I do try to live by "Do unto others as you would have them do to you". Being fair is something I strive really hard for.
The other is "Done is better than perfect." Sometimes we just need to finish something and move on to something else.
