What kind of eReader do you have?

I have a Kindle and an iPad. I love the Kindle for reading. My daughter has a Nook Color, but it feels kind of heavy to me. I am totally a book lover and will never give up real books, but the Kindle does make it really easy for travel and just reading in general. I can read much faster on a Kindle. One of the big pluses was that I had Stephen King's book "Under the Dome" in hardcover. I never did read it because it was almost 1000 pages and really clunky and heavy and just difficult to read (man that makes me sound super lazy... hee hee). I finally sucked under and got it on Kindle and breezed through it.

Debra let me know how the kindle fire works out. I'm weary about having a back lit screen I so love my kindle easy on the eyes no headaches. I can only stand so much reading on the ipad so I gave that up entirely. I love sitting by the pool and being able to read as well so the kindle was for me. You can read it in direct sunlight :)

Whatever way you go you won't be disappointed..save a tree get an e reader :)

I am a huge reader and don't know how I loved before the Kindle. Actually, I have a Kindle but only read on my iPhone and iPad now, with the Kindle app. LOVE IT! I love not buying physical books, I love not having to move them around and watch them collect dust, etc. I LOVE having an ereader!! If I was going to buy one a few months ago, I'd say the Nook Color. Now, Kindle Fire for sure.

I read a lot of magazines on mine. I have a raging case of ADD. So first of all I have a hard time paying attention to a book and secondly since I'm go go go all day, the second I sit still to read I fall asleep. LOL. So, a magazine is perfect for me. An article here or there.

If you guys want to download some rocking short stories, my good friend Allison M. Dickson has a bunch free on Amazon and B&N. They're really good. Little mini thriller types.

I don't mind reading on the iPad...but I won't give up my Kindle for just the reason you gave...sitting outside and reading! Also, my iPad is heavy and hard to hold up in bed sometimes. I think that Rick will take both the Fire and his regular Kindle with him wherever he goes. We were just talking this morning out getting our oldest a Kindle Fire for Christmas too. I don't think he'll be outside reading that often (he lives in Texas and he stays inside whenever he can).

I am a NOOK color - LOVE it! I love the ability to SHARE books on it as well (any one want to be NOOK friends?) that has been a HUGE perk for me!
