Hmmmm... we usually print ones out that have references to what happens in the commercials themselves... but I'm not seeing any like that this year. Maybe advertisers kept their commercials under wraps this year. That may be a good thing though because we did have quite a few "discussions" about which commercials fit which references. Advertiser bingo is much more exact!

We usually have candy prizes... and we tend to play bingo for everything (we even usually print out ones for the Oscars).

Lol @AnneofAlamo - the puppy bowl was always my daughter's fave! We are invited to our neighbors - but I will probably stay home and catch up on homework. I am so behind. And the house/party is usually so crowded there is no where comfy to sit. My hubby will be there - for the food, the beer and the football!!!

I do love the commercials and the halftime performance so might tune in for that... or have the TV on with low volume while I work on my class stuff.

We don't watch tv in our house at all. Not normal tv, we watch netflix and youtube, that's about it. And we are SOOO far from 'sporty'. NHL, a little, I was in it until they broke my heart and we broke up in the end of 2007. I don't talk to them anymore.

That being said, @cfile, @michelepixels, @Jems (and others) and I will be scrapping for TheLilyPad Bowl. GO PADDERS!!!!! HUT HUT!

Ha Ha! I just watched some highlights from the Puppy Bowl.. so adorable.. I liked one pup whose name was "Hemingway" OMG I can't believe how sweet!!

I love the "Lilypad Bowl and the Padders".. perfection my dear Serena!!

Our team isn't in it this year but we're going to a friends house- they have kids the same age- so we adults can have a good time without having 'bored' kids! I am in charge of desserts- so we have brownies (with green sprinkles for the Eagles) and Popcorn crack (popcorn, drizzled with green melting chocolate & green/brown/white sprinkles!) Or maybe Sundae's!

@Jan You're not missing anything! I'm just crazy! Since I don't follow football, I decide to make The Lilypad my "super team". It's for us people that don't particularly like or get into the Superbowl. Every layout or gallery comment we make is a point for our team!

Admittedly, I am not much of a football fan. However, it would be nice for someone besides the Patriots to win once in a while. DH went to grad school in Philly so he'll be cheering for Eagles for sure.

Um, it's not a holiday in this house!
We have watched it randomly through the years, especially the hotel years in Boston - because if you don't know what happened, you had to listen to the play by play! Those fans take their all their sports seriously!
Today I'm thinking of scrapping. Or playing a board game.

Actually, I was going to do something!! I'm working on the layout right now! So last Superbowl was 34-28 so I was going to start a thread and have people link two of their favorite layouts for us to comment on (taking the 2 from the 28) and then the goal is to leave 34 comments on layouts in the gallery... But I'm kinda digging your idea, how can we incorp... OH!!!!! OH my GOSH!! I know!! Okay, so.. Post two of our favorite layouts so we can get some love, comment 34 times and AND!!! For the winning "field goal" at the end, create a layout using 3 designers, 4 papers, 2 photo frames (with or without photos) and 8 different elements! (no matter how many of the elements, like 2 sequins would count as one... ?)

I always knew about the Super Bowl, as one of my school friends was an enormous fan. He has his team and so much merchandise, I think he even owns shares in the team or something (?), but basically SuperFan of the SuperBowl.
Having said that I didn't really know much about it until Scrap Orchard's Scrapper Bowl. Lots of fun and challenges, always had to pick a team (totally random). Was such a fun weekend! And it was so funny watching girls trying to speed scrap so they didn't miss kick off, or commercials, or the end, or whatever part they liked most. And I know some of you are here, wink wink

On a side note... I never thought any store would have anything as awesome as SO's Scrapper Bowl, but MOC is off the charts amazing! Seriously thankful every day that I picked TLP as my new home!
