We haven't had this thread in a while, so I wanted to start a new one! What type of camera do you shoot with?! Do you love it or hate it? Do you want to upgrade or stick with what you have?! Discussions very much welcome!

Me...I shoot with a Canon 40D. I have a Tamron lens on it that I love! I also have the extra battery grip attached to it which makes it bigger and bulkier, but I would never go without it! I love how it feels in my hands! I need to play more with my little Canon 50mm lens - I don't take it out enough, but I love that one too!

I have a Canon 30D and a couple of lenses but I mostly shoot with my Sigma 80-200mm. I just added a P&S to my collection, the Canon S95, which I have to admit takes great pics. I've been throwing it in my purse to stay more on top of P365 photos. I would really, really like to upgrade my DSLR to the Canon 5D but IDK when that will happen!

I have a little Panasonic point and shoot that's great for on-the-go stuff. I also have a Fuji S9500 (I think this is a European model, looks like a DSLR but has a fixed zoom lens) that is stuck in manual mode :cry I need to get one of the dials fixed, but seeing as that will cost me about half the price of the actual camera I am trying to decide whether it is actually worth it!

i have a nikon D70 which i ADORE but i DO dream of a full frame.....sigh... I use my 18-70 when i'm lazy and need to have a little zoom but prefer my 50mm 1.4 and 60 mm 2.8 for yumminess....i really want a wide angle next...not sure which one....I'd also like a better version of my 18-70 with a 2.8 ap.

I have a Canon XS....I had the kit lens and a zoom lens. The other day I tripped though and dropped the camera and now my kit lens doesn't work so I ordered the 50mm that Jacque linked up there. When I get my tax check I will be upgrading...but probably just to the T1i or the T2i. :)

LOL i forgot to add my camera type
i guess i have the walmart end of the canon family since everyone has the newer versions
though i think its a good camera lol
a Canon Eos Rebel XSI ( i just bought it in Feb)
I recently came into some extra money so i think i will go better and give my rebel to my kids or my mom
I wanted something better and a really good everyday lens
my uncle is a professional photographer and suggested this one and said hed teach me to use it so im going to jump on that offer LOL i know its a bit expensive but life is short and i take pictures everyday so why not kwim?

as far as lenses go im still looking since this one is just the camera body
so judging what everyone says a good 50mm lens is the way to go

I have the Sony NEX5 and am loving this little camera :) I get into my kids' faces since I haven't gotten the time to get the big lens for it, hehehe.

For our nicer pics, hubby shoots with his Sony 700 alpha.

I have a Nikon D90 and am in love with it. I almost always just keep my 50 mm 1.8 lens on it, although occasionally the kit lens with a bit of zoom makes it on there. I would love to get another lens, but so far can't justify it. I also have a little p & s canon powershot ( I think the same model as Amy, just am too lazy to go get it out of my purse to check!) that takes pretty decent pictures.

I just got a Nikon D3100 as an early birthday present but I haven't had much time to mess around with it yet! I'm just using the lens that came with it for now, I'll have to wait until another holiday to get a new lens.... maybe Mother's day... LOL! Before the Nikon, I was using a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28. Basically a Point and Shoot with more options and optical zoom.

I use a Sony A200 with a couple of upgraded lenses. I use my 50mm 1.8 most of the time, it's great for very shady days and for indoors although I need to work on the settings for indoors on dull days! I got an 18-200 mm zoom for Christmas which I love. So much better than the kit lens!

I'm not that bothered about upgrading the camera. Full-frame just isn't justifiable cost-wise and I'm not sure that the intermediate bodies are worth it.

I will work out how to use the darn thing on manual. I'm basically working on getting used to the buttons that I need to press at the moment, mainly taking pics where the subject doesn't run off as I'm quite slow. With any luck I'll have it figured out by summer :)
