What do you listen to?

I normally jam out to loud music but just lately I'm attempting to listen to an audiobook while I scrap. Anyone else? I'm not sure how much I'm actually absorbing while I scrap, haha.

I usually listen to Amazon Prime music. I got between Classical Piano when I really need to concentrate, especially on journaling and then sometimes I listen to "Top Pop" or I love the 80s and 90s station and then I also will listen to musicals. I just love that there are no commercials on Amazon Music! I used to listen to George Winston station on Pandora, but the commercials are out of control! And they seems to play the same 3 commercials over and over and it makes me crazy!

sometimes i audiobook but i find i have to rewind bits because i kind of half listen while scrapping too (and have to turn it off completely to think to type journalling which is kind of unproductive); i use spotify otherwise and mostly listen to acoustic songs, mellow stuff

I know I can't concentrate on an audiobook and something else. But I listen to music while I scrap sometimes. I wonder if I could listen to a podcast and scrap. I started listening to podcasts while I walk last summer and now also while I'm knitting. I actually prefer scrapping in quiet though.

Kids screaming LOL

I listen to just about anything music wise other than death metal and hard core rap. I WISH I could listen to audio books, but I tend to tune them out :(

I listen to Amazon Prime stations while at work but when I'm scrapping I'm usually catching up on shows that I've DVR'd during the week. I scrap on a laptop so I can lounge wherever I want. :)

I like total silence when I scrap lol. I very seldom get to enjoy just quiet and I can bust out some layouts when I do get it. However, most of the time I'm scrapping to whatever movie DH is watching and DS's video game noises.

I do love loud music when I'm cleaning or doing other things around the house :)

I usually have the tv on in the background... I'm almost always home alone when I scrap and it just fills some of the quiet. But it has to be something I've seen before so I don't actually watch the show. I will listen to podcasts occasionally, but they have to be the lighter ones I listen to, not the ones where I need to absorb and remember details (like some of the true crime ones I listen to).

With a house full of musicians there's nearly always music being played to differing degrees of competency. So when I'm alone I tend to go for silence.

Spotify playlist all day long while scrapping! I had a fase when I put on the tv but that got distracting. I've never listened an audiobook in my life and I love books (we have about 700 in our house, 95% of which are mine). Maye I should try that some time...

I have a pretty eclectic Spotify playlist I listen to. If I don't have on music I will have on a podcast or the TV in the background (only things I have already seen though or I get distracted).

I love audiobooks and podcasts when I'm in the kitchen, or cleaning the house or walking. I can't do them while scrapping! It distracts me too much. Either I stop paying attention, or I stop scrapping.
So, lately, it's those predictable tv shows that the story line moves so little in each episode, you don't miss much. My sister wants to me watch 9-11, and I'm not that into it yet. So, it's a good one to half pay attention to. :giggle Or, I like to put on movies I've seen a million times!
I've been listening to a lot of music while doing school, so I tend to want something else to scrap. But prior to school, I enjoyed music while scrapping.

I love music, but when I'm scrapping, I don't listen to it. I like to immerse myself in the creative process. Talk about the "predictable TV shows" @bestcee - HGTV is my "background - don't pay any attention to" show. It's usually on here, but nobody is watching it. LOL

I usually listen to music from the 20s to 90s, and a few "modern" songs, but lately I have been listening to Genealogy podcasts and a few paranormal podcasts, and of course my old creepy radio shows!
